Competitive Cyclist now offers the service of retrofitting your existing Campagnolo Ultra Torque crankset to ceramic bearings. Their ceramic bearings are Grade 5 — the highest quality ceramic bearings available in the marketplace. An added benefit is that both sides of their bearings have seals. The stock Campy bearings are sealed on only one side (most likely to reduce drag). The added seal to these bearings gives them added longevity. You can rest assured that by upgrading to the performance benefits of ceramics, you aren’t giving up on component durability. Competitive Cyclist in Little Rock, Arkansas. Price: $175.00!

Let’s take a closer look at the construction of the brake. All the aluminium parts are CNC-machined and black anodized. The brake-shoes – they have to be purchased individually by the way – are Shimano compatible. Consequently, besides the Corima cork-pads provided by M5, you can use the “Flash†brake-pads made by SwissStop, which we will also review. The installation is quite easy.
