Bike of the year contest

80 Hours to go! (March 24th, 2007 - 12pm), than this period has expired.
As already published in several online communities we would like to officially announce our first contest. We search for the nicest community bike in four different categories:
Win a Prize:
- 20 x Bottlecages from Tune
- 2 x Syntace F99 Stems 105mm (Racebike and MTB) with Ti-Bolts
- 5 x Swissstop-Brakepads, Racebike, Disc- or Rimbrakes.
- 5 x Light-Bikes T-Shirt

- Titan-Skewers from Heylight
Please feel free to send in the pics of your bike via email directly to contest@light-bikes.de ( Please try to avoid sending in pictures greater than 2mb data size - jpg format is preferred )
In your e-mail you should tell us your name, the categories you want to compete in and perhaps a short description of your bike and the idea behind it. Last but not least you shouldn´t forget to attach the pictures.
We will collect all your transmittals until Saturday, March 24th. Then our editorial staff will judge every bike in five criteria from 0 ( poor ) to 10 ( remarkable ): conception ; choice of parts ; weight ; choice of colour ; general optics. The Top 10 bikes out of every category ( determined by overall score ) will then be presented on this website - together with our comments - and you can vote for your personal favorite. After two weeks then we will know who has won our bike of the year contest. Needless to say that the winners will receive a little present - so it´s worth to participate. We are looking forward to see your bikes !
