Principia Prototype?!

New frame from Principia, spotted in Danmark at Århus Festuges Gadeløb Race. Meanwhile there are some unconfirmed information available. The source says that the frame uses a newly developed hollow carbon fibre, successor of the C60T fiber used in their limited edition. The seattube is carried out in a one piece design ( bottom bracket to seatpost ), which is supposed to increase stiffness according to the manufacturer. The weight for a 57cm sized frame is about 740g, with a STW value which beats the current market benchmarks. Pretended market launch in March 2008.

Principia Bikes needs to get cleaned out. They found some nice frames with a few scratches or minor faults in the anodizing or paintjob, and decided to offer these with a huge discount. They also threw in a couple of frames, like the awesome Principia RSL (499 Euros including Frameset with Fork, Headset and Seatpostclamp) without any faults. Surface treatment warranty is one year (exception: Frames with manufacturing flaws). Three years against rupture of the frame.
