Wie schon im Vorfeld der Eurobike angekündigt, erweitert Carbon Ti die Produktpalette um neue Sattelmodelle.
Zielgewicht der neuen Sättel <90 Gramm. Die ersten Modelle, jedoch nur rund 75 Gramm schwer, gibt es auf Wunsch auch in einer Custom-Ausführung, sprich mit einem eigenen Design und Farben. Aufpreis auf die 199 Euro Listenpreis – 20 Euro.

„So a little update now that I have a couple more rides and km on this saddle: I am really kind of astonished as the saddle has made zero issues, but instead convinces with a great shape and well balanced amount of comfort. As most of you may have come to know I am always skeptical with my material, however I really have the impression that these saddles might become serious competitors for the AX-Lightness ones. The latter will still have the upper hand when it goes about the absolutely lightest weight (especially with their Phoenix version), however at a weight of sub80g (my prototype is still 10g overweighted), a really usable (race bike) shape and not at last also the (kind of unlimited) customization options, I smell that these saddles could become a real hit.
As for my personal experiences: I have not felt any discomfort, even not on 140km rides and it actually felt as if I would have been riding this very saddle for ages already: took literally no time to „adopt“ to it.Another interesting thing worth mentioning: in case of a defect (for whatever reason), they can individually replace the seat’s upper resp. the rails.“
Die Sattelschale ist ähnelt der eines Becker Carbon Sattels, besitzt aber ein grundlegend andere Rails mit 6mm Durchmesser, welche aus 43 Lagen Fasern bestehen. Erfreulich, dass es kein Gewichtslimit gibt und die Sättel auf dem Rennrad, als auch auf dem Mountainbike freigegeben sind.
